Default That is the difference???

Okay, this is future (maybe near future) thinking so this is why I am reading up on this... What is the difference between these motors and which one would I get the most bang for the buck.

Cart history:
2003 EzGo TXT Series Limo 6 seater
Alltrax SR48600
SW202 HD reversing contactor
48 volts
Stock motor with 4 gauge cables (will upgrade to 2 gauge of course)

Motors in question:
Admiral MOT-B1
Advanced AMD 7126
Advanced AMD 7122

I have gotten all my other components from Carts Unlimited so will probably order from them, but just want to get a little more info that what I am reading.

I also have been looking at Plum Quick as they are actually in my state.

Thanks for all your expert knowledge...

Don’t forget about D&D. They are easy to work with and I have gotten a handful of great motors from them.

While I have read other posts with those, hadn't really read up on them. Will check out.

Forgot to add that this will mainly be used in a neighborhood and on streets with lite inclines. I think the largest incline might be going up my driveway. But right now getting 20 mph with the stock motor and lift kit and 23" wheels. Really just want a good balance of speed and be able to tackle any potential driving in the yard if I need to.

EMP is another option as well. They even offer a switchable low/high speed motor for series carts.

To answer your question: What's the difference?

Motors in question:
Admiral MOT-B1
8 hp better than average torque with lower than average speed.
Advanced AMD 7126
6 hp less torque than B1 but greater top speed. A good mix for moderate terrain in a cart used on and off the street
Advanced AMD 7122
4 hp Lowest torque of the 3. About $200 lower cost and same speed as the 7126 motor. But less power - not recommended for a limo cart with increased loads.

the motors you mentioned are truly made for different "wants/needs" so what I would do would select the one that truly meets your needs, and you didn't tell us what those are.

I put that in my second post. Mainly driving around the neighborhood on a street. No offroading, hunting, or racing. Just want mid 20's speed and be able to go through some yards or up small inclines if need be and not have trouble.
