Default Motor works better.

This is why the cart wouldn't go far. $90 rebuild and runs 16mph. Yeah me.

Did you do it yourself or take it to a shop?

First of all, WooHoo! You got it fixed for cheap.

WOW! The bearing was so shot the rotor and stator were rubbing? The laminations in each are coated and supposed to be insulated from each other, to avoid eddy current, which can cause overheating. How were the bare laminations addressed? Also, unless the internal bearing was a fluke, the one in the rear-end is likely just as worn out, and is the other "half" of the motor's two bearings. If the motor bearings were that far gone, does this cart have an unusual amount of miles, meaning you should be concerned about all other bearings?

A question for folks with more experience than me. When I tore my motor apart, my brushes looked much more evenly worn than these do. My experience with brushed motors is limited to fractional Hp universal motors.
