Default 2000 ds motor whine

Hey all. Just got a 2000 ds and the seller didn’t tell me the cart had issues. Put new batteries in an had some rear end chattering which I took care of with a motor centering kit. Now, the motor whines at all speeds. While accelerating, deceleration and coasting. I put a new motor bearing in too. Think I messed up the brushes? I would think the brushes would make the noise as the rear diff is all good. Too much pressure from the centering kit? Any input would be appreciated!

Did you post this after we spoke on the phone? Did you try what I suggested and see if it worked?

Running into this exact issue. Whines after centering kit. I know it’s an old thread but what was suggested by David? I did remove and replace the rubber insert in the motor with the new part.

The guy (not David) did not come back to his own thread.

Start a thread with your exact problem and you can get help.
