Default Buying A G29??

It’s a semi local company (Cozy Cart?)
Almost every personally owned cart at our local courses have them...
Must be a west coast thing, as seems many on the eastern side haven’t seen them....
Thanks all for the hints...
I will thoroughly clean the carb this weekend
The tank was already really clean before I added new fuel, so think I’m good there....
(I got in there with my extendable mirror & peeked around)
Then added just a little fuel to circulate, & see if there was any type of debris....
If there was 12oz of fuel to start, I’d be surprised...
I really thought at 1st it was just out of fuel causing no fire
Should have it going 100% by Saturday afternoon

Did you change the fuel filter. You might have said that you did, but at 0530 hrs, I am not at my best. Since it will run (poorly) with the choke engaged, I second the motion that the carb needs a good cleaning. Even though the air filter looks good, it can harden over time and block the air flow (don't ask me how I know this after pulling on the starter of a generator). Just a few things to check.

Fuel filter & pump changed
New carb en route, should be here Thursday
(Then will clean out the OEM for spare)
Once I get it running good...
Then will do full tune
Everything looks as new (even oil)
But will do it all anyway
14” wheels, & a cooler will be here next week...
Will start plumbing for my heater this weekend, or next....
Lights will be happening as well...
Anyone have any pros/cons to any of the aftermarket options?

Cons... aftermarket carb. I'd send it back, and just clean your OEM carb well and call it a day. The aftermarket carbs cause more problems than they solve.

Is this a G29 thing?
We’ve been buying the cheap junk carbs for our CCDS carts for years, & never had one ounce of problems?

Search around on the forums... come to think of it, I dont know that I've run across any issues with it in the club car forum. But I've lost count how many Yamaha and ezgo's that have had nothing but problems with aftermarket carbs that were all "magically" fixed when they just cleaned their oem carb or installed an OEM mikuni. Maybe the FE engines in the CC's are more forgiving when it comes to fuel issues.

Yamaha's in particular dont like aftermarket anything. Occasionally someone will get lucky with an aftermarket carb or ignition coil. But 99% of people just end up chasing their tail and replacing a whole lot more parts trying to fix their cart, when all along it was the carb they replaced first.

Thanks for the heads up...!
Guess I won’t be as lazy & pull it out for a tear down & full clean...
Once again... stay tuned!

New Carb installed
Started right up, & purrs like a kitten
I will now tear into the OEM Carb, & clean it up, & be ready for when the aftermarket fails....
Maiden voyage in a Men’s Club Stapleford over the weekend...
Now I have the long wait until Tuesday, when the 14’s show up, as well as my cooler!
