Default No speed sensor

2001 Club Car DS
We have good batteries and low speed with jerky motion. Trying to diagnose and was referred to the motor speed sensor. This model has none.
Any suggestion?

How do you know you have good batteries? What tests did you perform to verify you have good batteries? What is battery after a full charge? After it has been sitting after 12 hours with no charger? What does the voltage dip to when accelerating with a voltmeter attached to the pack + and pack -? What condition are the cables in? Have they been cleaned and tightened?

Like Big weezy said, want to verify that the battery voltage if not dropping significantly when starting off. Sometimes this can be a poor connection, or just one bad battery.

Jerky starts can be throttle system related.
Its and 01, guessing a series cart since you say it has no speed sensor. It has a big lever type FnR with large cables going to the back?
Does it have an MCOR throttle, or V-Glide? (pie wedge black plastic case on the left side frame under the seat)
