Default 295CC...Need more power!

So I just purchased an ezgo with the pre MCi 295cc robins. The cart is lifted on 22" tires and its just not pulling like i need it too. I understand I can install a 28 degree secondary and 1" shorter belt, but while im at it is there anything i can do for more hp? I have checked compression? Cylinders 155 and 160. Valves set too .004, New plugs gapped .030. Can u Shave these heads? Thanks,Chris
