ezgo posi diff?
i am doing a 625 swap in my grand oasis cart. The 1 wheel peel isn't going to cut it. Does anyone make a posi or some type of locker diff for these carts? I think the 91-94 marathon workhorse is the closest to what i have.

I have a 2000 electric TXT and had my limited slip built by Don Plowman. https://www.plowmanscarts.com/index.html
You may want to give him a call and see if he can help you out. Don is a first class guy and knows his stuff. FWIW |

Re: ezgo posi diff?
Is your transaxle the ME29?
These types in the pics are for the Dana transaxles like on the later Yamaha's and some EZGO's. The first one is from Plowmans. The second one is the internet version, manufacturer unknown. Fits E-Z-GO 1998 & Up electric, Yamaha G11/G16/G20/G21/G22 gas, and Yamaha G16/G19/G22 electric models I don't believe there is one for the Japan made Fuji ME29. Here are pics of the ME29. The other option is to weld the diff gears. It's been done that way for forever. The only downside to that is on pavement making tight turns, you'll get tire scrub and your turning radius will increase. Off road the welded diff is just like a spool, both wheels turn all the time, locked together. |

Re: ezgo posi diff?
i have the japan diff. so nothing is out there aside from welding? We run it 90% on pavement so welding wouldn't be the best option for me.

Re: ezgo posi diff?
Nothing for the ME29 that I'm aware of. Yeah welded diff on pavement would not be fun.
