Default Drive 2 sluggish

Got a weird problem on a drive 2 Quietech
It has decent low range and will eventually get up to 20mph but...
It has really weak mid range. Once your about 5-7mph it’s pretty gutless.
I’ve done a lot of Yamaha carts and never seen one like this. It had a broken air box - fixed that. Cleaned the throttle body that was carboned up from the air box. Checked the valves, adjusted throttle cables. It’ll rev up in neutral but just not getting up enough in rpms when driving.

I played with it for a couple hours today and honestly I’m out of ideas.
Any help or ideas is appreciated

So it seems like it’s a lean fuel issue.
I’ve swapped throttle bodies, checked fuel pressure
Pulled the head off and cleaned the valves, still no difference
It feels like normal power taking off but anything over about 40-50% throttle at the butterfly makes no difference. Spark plug is pretty white.
I’ve got no clue at this point.
No check engine codes

On a Drive2 Quietech.
Drop the belly pan, remove the elbow that turns the exhaust down through the pan then look up into muffler housing. You’ll see it. Loosen the bolt on the clamp and slide it off.

Great advice Don. Thanks! I was having the exact same issue with my 2018 Adventurer 2+2. We have a long hill to get out of our neighborhood and with the wife and both small kids on we ran about 7 mph all the way up the hill. It drove me to the point I was actually trying to sell it. I didn’t quite need the 30+ mph out of one of your performance kits but needed to do something. Removing the arrestor I hit 14 mph fully loaded with the entire family up the same hill. Game changer! I’ll be calling soon to see if moving to one of your high flow air filters might give me an affordable way to get a little more power.

Thanks again!

Do you replace the elbow that turns the exhaust down and plastic belly pan after you remove the spark arrestor?
I was worried about the exhaust melting the bottom pan because once the spark arrestor is removed it somewhat changes the angle the exhaust will flow.

Here's a link and pics to a thread I started asking this...
