Should I use NGK FRA2A-D spark plugs
Good day, new member seeking help. 2003 EZGO 295cc gas.
I am trying to find the right spark plug. All I could find on the forum is reference to NGK BPR5ES BPR4ES and BPR2ES. The online manual I am using states that NGK BPR5ES should be used on 350cc and NGK FRA2A-D should be used on 295cc. The ones that were in the engine are BPR2ES. I installed the FRA2A-D and the cart seems to be a bit more sluggish. Thank you!! |

BPR#ES are the same plug in different heat ranges. Lower the number the hotter the plug. I ran 4s in my 295 with no issues. I have never heard of the other one.

This is the table I was using. Maybe wrong engine model. I just noticed that the manual states that it is applicable for models after 2007. Mine is 2003.
