Default Voltage issue 2017 Yamaha gas

I've got a 2017 Yamaha gas Voltage readout is fine without headlights on. When headlights are on very low voltage around 8-9 even running at fast speed. Readout backlight on column flickers then voltage jumps up. Headlight switch end gets very warm quickly. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

If this is a OEM yamaha PTV cart (with full fancy light kit). you just need a new signal head (the fancy turn signal switch) . I have seen this a time or 2 before. Not often, but seen it before.

If your totally lost on that , I'll get the part number for ya. (All the parts for the light kits that arent "at the corners of the cart" arent covered In the diagrams.)

Please help me to help you & post a picture of the turn signal/headlight switch. If it's real, I'll have a good part number for you in short order.

Part is "GCA-JW112-41-T1" for a turn signal switch.

Have any other lights been added to this cart? Strip lighting, anything that is also on when the lights are on that is not factory?

Yes
Side strip and rear drip rail. All on with headlights. But the were installed over 2 years ago with no issues.
Thanks

The turn signal handle, hot to the touch, or to hot too touch?

Factory headlights, or aftermarket? I already know they are Halogens

Factory headlight. LED strip lights installed by Liquid Lights ( that’s their specialty)
After about 10 minutes the end of turn signal HOT

First of all a big thanks to the folks that offered help with this.
WOOHOO ‼️
Problem solved. It was a bad connection on a dealer installed hidden kill switch. I just pulled the dash cover off turned on all lights and blindly started searching for hot wires. Who would thunk it.
Thanks again.
