I'll have to use that.
Use it sparingly and in the vicinity of those with a sense of humor. I won't tell you where my advice comes from, but from one cart guy to another I'm just trying to have your back :)

Different spindle on the 08.
Somewhere around 04 they changed the spindle design on the DS, so it matched the spindle size on the Precedent. Then they could use the same front hubs on both. Save $$$
The 04+ spindles are metric size 20mm diameter and about 3/4” shorter length than the older style SAE 3/4” spindle. The new spindle uses sealed ball bearings. The old style has tapered roller bearings that you can easily remove and re-grease.

Bet you can’t guess which one was better.

If you use a spacer it will have to have its own wheel studs built in. A 1” spacer will not allow you to mount the wheel using the existing studs.

I ordered the studded ones and will see how they go. The c word? Oh hell no. There’s not a woman alive that likes that word! Ironically there’s a Netflix series about profanity that’s funny as hell. During the “b!tch” episode, one of the comediennes says something like “I hate that word. Sure, I could call my dog a b___ but I would never do that. I call her a c—- instead!” I died laughing.
