Default E-z go won’t go

It feels like the clutch is slipping but it’s not because it engages. When it’s in the air the back tires spin but when it’s on the ground it won’t go like it should any suggestions or ideas on what to look for or what to do?

Belt tension maybe? When running it in the air can you stop the tire easily?

Possibly a stripped hub.

Usually it’s the drivers side. Remove the hubcaps if you have them so you can see the big axle nut in the middle of the wheel. Look back and hit the gas. If the nut spins but the wheel doesn’t, it’s stripped. Super easy repair, remove the nut and the brake drum. Throw it out and replace it with a new drum. The splines are built into the drum.

Do you hear any grinding noises? Any metal shavings near the center of the rear wheels?

It also could be a clutch issue. But I agree with checking the hubs first, easy thing to check.

And OP.....I have to say you created a terrible name!

So if I spin the wheel the other side spins but not the clutch and if I spin the clutch the wheels move little but don’t spin. Is that normal.
