Battery equaliser is designed to do 1 thing....desulphate. Thats it and nothing more. It will not fix a battery that has internal damage or a shorted cell.

I know of one cart in particular....the pack was old and tired. No shorted cells or internal damage, just sulphated and wouldn't hold a charge very long. One treatment and a little more added just for the heck of it and now it's running strong. When the treatment was made we knew all good and well it's a temp fix at best and NOT a replacement for new batteries.

I know I'm a new guy here so don't beat on me too hard.. LOL

I just met the owner of this company by sheer chance the other day. (The shop that makes the product is next door to a sign company I use)

So he walked in and I asked him what it was they make and he gave me the pitch.. I was very skeptical at first.. same as you guys "snake oil." I had a quad battery that had been sitting for awhile and wouldn't keep a charge. Put it in, and it brought it back to life. I was blown away.

In talking with the owner of the company he told me that if you use the stuff "anually" as a battery maintenance, then your batteries will last a long time.. by a long time think a really long time.

He told me he has a small little boat with a trolling motor on it driven off a few car batteries. This is now his 11th season on those same batteries. It's one thing to hear that kind of stuff on a forum.. It's another when your talking to the guy face to face. He wasn't B.S'ing..

Take it for what it is.. Personally I got batteries up the yin yang for motorcycles, quads, boats, etc.. I'll be buying this stuff and using it from now on, if I can even get another season out of them then it has more then paid for itself.

Anymore Battery Equalizer stories? I just bought a 95 DS CC and the batteries are 4 years old. If this stuff works then it should be the right time to use it. Any thoughts?

Where do you go to buy this "snake oil"? I have 4 year old 8 volt trojans that could use some.
