Re: EZ-GO Rear leaf spring problem
That is about what I am ready to do. How are you laying the bottle jack up? the 3 I have will not pump laying horizontal. Forgive me if this is a stupid question. I am just not able to do it.

Re: EZ-GO Rear leaf spring problem
You may have to add oil to the jack while it's on it's side. That's how I got it to work.

Maybe the chain and tree is a good idea, kidding, good luck. I have good luck with the plunger, pump. on the bottom with the jack on its side

Re: EZ-GO Rear leaf spring problem
thx dirry
you welcome RaceB lol, I am not talking with myself if you have two of them much better, do both sides at the same time taking measures every step, this helps to keep both sides equal. Edited: well I see others bring their solutions Last edited by gaston; 08-22-2009 at 06:21 PM.. Reason: didn't see subsequent posts! |

Re: EZ-GO Rear leaf spring problem
This is an old thread but I'm having issues installing heavy duty springs on my 2002 TXT. The darn pin on the leaf springs are not lining up on the shock plate. they're about 1/4 inch off. I'm about ready to say forget it and tighten it down. Sigh....
