yes, actually i do, and i don't mind doing all this work myself, i allready changed the motor and rear end yesterday. the yellow wire is coming from the main solenoid on the drivers side it's long enough to get to the switch up front but I'm not sure where it goes.

The "yellow" wire in question is most likely the wire off the solenoid to the microswitch which is mounted to the missing f/r assembly.

I know all about the yellow wire on an '87 club car.

it goes to the pass side of each of the solenoids, then to the f/r microswitch.....then I think to the key.

I myself have a green wire problem. Check out my pics, feel free to ask for more.
