Thanks. I'm going to order an alltrax 400amp controller now that I know exactly what model I have. Will the 400amp work ok with stock motor?

yeap!, you need DCX 400 Alltrax, you have to specifically order it for DCS as it comes factory programmed to match that motor field.

And it works as charm for 48v! no need to upgrade motor!...oh yeah... but you will need extra batteries + charger

It's a DCS cart with a sepex motor.
