Sounds like your cart was a bit mistreated in its previous life. Glad you're going to take care of it. I believe that was much of the story with the previous owner of my (electric) cart. He stated during my visit that he wanted a gas cart that his buddy was selling. Upon purchasing, I realized the batteries were not as strong as they should have been for their age. Plus, he had 23" Dirt Devil mud tires on it... the pack didn't last long. Plus, the water level was so low, it took a gallon to fill them to required amount. On top of that, they must have had rear passenger A LOT because the rear shocks would curve, just a bit, the opposite direction with load.. I'm guessing the battery life he was experiencing was atrocious with passengers and the big tires (20 lbs/ea) End of the day, I just don't think this guy knew what an electric cart needed and didn't maintain it adequately. I think it conveyed a message to him that something was "more wrong" with it and sold it for $2,300 when he should have been looking at $3,000+. I was the early bird that day luckily. I ripped the big mud tires off, sold them for $150, put on 20" all-terrains, and I've nursed the pack back to 37.7V and it does ok for what we need. New batteries likely next year. I hope you enjoy your EZGO as much as we have this past year. |

Re: What did you do to/for your EZGO today?
Well, this list is long and distinguished.
I purchased the following parts (over the last week)............ Predator 22hp Horizontal Shaft Engine Vegas Carts 22hp Conversion Kit Vegas Cart Ignition Wiring Harness 4" SGC Drop Lift Kit 12" SGC Black Venom Wheels 22"x11"-12" A/T Tires Heavy Duty Rear 4-Leaf Spring Kit ISO Mount Bushings Heavy Duty Front Leaf Springs Brake Drums and Shoes Front and Rear Shocks LED Street Legal Light Kit 14" LED Light Bar Diamond Stitched Seat Covers (Black & Silver) Gray Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel Complete Body Rivet Kit Mirror Kit Fuel Filter (Plus Frame Undercoating Spray, Truck Bed Liner Spray, ) I think I got everything. All this because my engine seized up at the end of last year. My wife told me to fix the cart. That's EXACTLY what I did. The cart will be done next week. If she doesn't like it, I can't send anything back. |

I had to print at 110% and then I could press the nuts in with my vice. I used PETG. |

Re: What did you do to/for your EZGO today?
Finally after almost 15 years ordered and installed the rear seat. This is the double Take Max 6 Cruz from sponsor Revolution Golf Cars and I am glad I waited. Top quality and sturdy. Oder the safety bar along with the cup holders. The instructions were just ok, make sure you get the correct ones for your model. EZGO Txt needs to reuse the canopy braces.
Also installed the DVM, Trim Piece (which I ordered 5 years ago, been sitting in the envelope), Voltage Reducer and Fuse Block from Scotty at Carts Unlimited. Cleaned up my dash a bit and now have a couple of useful cup holders! Ordered the 3 switch block from Amazon, it fit perfectly. |
