Testing coil on ezgo electric motor
I have a 2007 ezgo Freedom. I think I may have shorted out my controller by putting on a speed booster incorrectly. I want to check the motor coil to see if that is okay. Can anyone tell me how to check the coil? By the way a speed booster is a gadget I bought on the internet for about $30.00 and it's ending up costing big bucks. Take my advice it's not worth it if you don't know what your doing.

True for a lot of DIY situations I'm afraid.

Re: Testing coil on ezgo electric motor
Take an ohms tester from your motor case to the terminals on the motor and there should be no continuity...if there is thats not good. good luck!
