Can I get a resistor and diode at an electric supply store?? Where can I get them??

Yes, radio shack MIGHT have it. Not so sure about them anymore

You want a 1N5404 diode (Radio Shack Catalog #276-1144). You can get them anywhere as its a very common diode (3 amp, 400 volt). The resistor you are looking for is a 220ohm-250ohm 10 watt resistor (ceramic). I didn't see it on their site, but they might accidentally have one.

200amp Controller
24-36-48volts 1N4004 (1amp, 400volts) Radio Shack #276-1103
220ohm/10watt ceramic resistor

400amp controller
24-36-48volts 1N5404 (3amp, 400volts) Radio Shack #276-1144
470ohm/10watt ceramic resistor
