Torque ???
Question: I'm thinking of changing out the stock gears in My yahamahaha
g-16e I already changed out the controler to 650amp installed a new motor with #4 welding cable and went to 25"x13"x9" john deere tires on the back and 22s on the front, it go's pretty good but not enough yet it's only half scarry. if I change to 6-1 gears how much more can I expect and will I still be able to get her up on my pick up or will I haveto push. THANKS..... |

Re: Torque ???
So it sounds like your 650 if its an alltax will be 36-48 so that will work fine, just put a heavy duty 300amp 48v solenoid and what type of motor are you going to use, and make sure when you buy a new charger dont buy a club car power drive charger because it will not work, but that set up with the 8 6 v's is the way to go if you can fit all the batt's, longest run time possible, and the 48v will help you out a little bit in the power department to compensate for the lower/taller gears,
