1996 cc pot test

here we go i got this cart on a project i have replaced the motor from a 05 model and i installed a selonid also installed a beefed up f&r switch and upgraded to a curtis 350 amp controller it has new batteries and new cables still nothing. well there is only two things left the pot and the obc well from my understandng the obc just mainly controlls the charging anyways just want to know if there is a way to test the pot b4 i replace or take it to the shop i really dont wanna do that. rather put seats roof and etc any help is appreciated thank u and sfter runnng will post pics b 4 and after the restoration
