DCX400 Installation question
I have a new Alltrax DCX400 with a new solenoid and my question is this. On the two front posts my cart was originally wht/ylw/red wires on the left post and the blue wire on the right post but on the altraxx wiring diagram it seems to be shown the opposite. Am I taking it too literally? If I hook the cables up as they were on the original equipment all the wires fit correctly but this is my first stab and this task and I just want to be certain before I power it on.
Thanks. |

Re: DCX400 Installation question
I am looking at the drawing on Alltrax, I believe you are looking at the solenoid wrong, it shows the wires the same as yours

Re: DCX400 Installation question
So if I've hooked up the wire in the same position as the original setup and everything seems to fit as it should does it seem reasonable that I'm safe.
Also what would happen if I had the post flipped? Thanks. |

Re: DCX400 Installation question
Here is how I have it hooked up and the right side large post is the B+ connection. Does that help?

Re: DCX400 Installation question
Cool, it seemed logical enough but you never know.
I also have th diode pointing the correct direction (I believe) meaning toward the wht/yle/red post which is how I read the wiring diagram. Thanks for the help. |

Re: DCX400 Installation question
Video tape the power up process, so if it explodes, we can view it.
j/k.... Been there, done that. I was a little nervous when I powered it up the first time after installing my new controller/solenoid. You'll enjoy this upgrade. |
