suggestion on lift kit and wheels
I want to lift my 05 txt series cart and add nice wheels and tires. When I'm finished, I need the cart to fit in the back of my truck. Any thoughts or watch outs?

Lift will extend front end out some but I think you will be ok with gate down. I see it all the time but imo they are cutting it close, but most of these are pulling a camper. Good Luck!

Re: suggestion on lift kit and wheels
My old cart, 99 ezgo, had a 5in drop axle lift with 22x11x10 tires, it did fit in my 2000 GMC long box. It was a little tight between the wheel wells but it made it. I don't know the brand of the lift though.
Also, I had a tool box in the truck, basically making it a short box, and the rear tires sat in the crease of the box and tailgate. |

Re: suggestion on lift kit and wheels
I'm mostly concerned about the cart fitting between the fender wells. Not real sure I understand wheel offset and how much a lift kit will widen the overall width of the tires. The inside width of my fender wells is 50".

Re: suggestion on lift kit and wheels
I believe the Allsport lift kit maintains a standard width of the front end. Of course Tire offset will come into play in this but if I were going to transport in the back of a pickup, I would want to maintain the stock width as much as possible.

Re: suggestion on lift kit and wheels
Like I said that was my last cart and I don't remember the brand lift.
I just measured my current cart, it is at 55", that is w/ 27x12x12 and 2" spacers on each side. So, if you were thinking 5-6 in lift and 23's you should have all kinds of room with the 50" of clearance. |

This fits in the back of my 01 gmc 2500 Long Bed, The rear seat foot platform goes right over the tailgate when closed, Strech long travel with 25" tires, just drive it right over the wheel wells
