Default Dumb Question

I know this doesn't go here but I figured I'd get a quick responce.

I'm installing a radio/stereo in my cart. The radio/stereo is four channel and I will only be using two speakers. Do I just leave the front or back speaker wires unhooked or do I splice in front and rear wires to the speakers?

Either use both fronts or both rears, tape up the others,so they don't short-out.Then adjust your Fader to the pair you are using.

yepper and I would hook them up in relation to where they are....IE if installed up front, I would hook them up there and if installing the speakers on the back of the cart I would hook them up to the rear speaker output.

True I am just thinking of the ability to add two more speakers later and not having to move wiring around

You could wire the two speakers that you have and then stub out where you plan on putting additional speakers. In other words run the other two wires where you plan on putting the speakers in the future and tape them up, so when the time comes you are ready to plug and play.

That is what I am doing to mine and I don't even have a stereo yet.

There is no such thing as a dumb question. It is better to ask thank make a potentially costly mistake.
