resistor and diode size
97 series club car plum quick purple motor 300 amp axe controller 4ga wire hd sol and hd f/r would like to know what size resistor and diode i need local cart shop said didn't need either one it is fused at the battery pack

An AXE controller is an alltrax unit. ALL alltrax controllers must have a resistor and diode on the solenoid. Use a 3 amp diode for 48v and a 470 ohm resistor.
