Hey guys I hope all is well. Been doing some work on cart and I was thinking about getting a new steering wheel. Dont really need one but ive never liked the stock one with pencil holder etc. They arent cheep and I have looked at the sponsers sites. Im looking for just a black one, any tricks out there to adapt one over from somthing else? thanks, Steve

Re: low priced steering wheel
Well, just be sure of what you need as far as a steering wheel adapter. I have a nice steering wheel that I assumed needed a 3 hole adapter. Found out that it actually needs a 6 hole adapter.
Because the steering wheel had 3 holes on the backside unused, I assumed that the correct adapter was a 3 hole. Now, I need to return it and get a 5-6 hole adapter, unless I make a round adapter to bolt to the 3 hole piece, and drill it out for 6 holes. I searched the site, but didn't find anyone who had this issue (evidently no one was as stupid as me when they went to install an aftermarket steering wheel). |

Re: low priced steering wheel
caokgafamily,
I found mine on craigslist. I think that I paid $35.00 for it. Also remember that the horn function won't work on a golf cart. I am going to remove my horn push button and install a black plug. |

Re: low priced steering wheel
You can get a Grant Wheel Adapter, then you can use any 3-bolt Grant-Style automotive wheel. Most of the site-sponsors carry the adapter.Hope this helps.
