Default Re: Using EZGO TXT 36V for hunting have questions

Shane, my uncle had a hunting cart similar to yours and I helped him replace the controller twice. Listen to Scottyb when he says the stock controller won't last. I'd buy a package from him and know I was getting what I needed, but also had access to all the advice I'd ever need to keep it running.

I have a 36 volt hunting cart, but it has a PDS motor and I am satisfied with the speed and torque I have with a 500 controller. Don't get confused and compare your cart with the PDS carts you read about; they are very different.

I've been using an electric hunting cart since the late 90s. I'd much rather use one than an atv for hunting. Good luck with yours!

That's a fine looking hunting cart you have there DirtPit!! I like your cammo job and the accessories that you have done. For my cart I bot an Outback Fab roll cage and since the factory roof no longer fit, I did a self-design roof from lexan with a camo wrap. The rubber washer "flare" in the pic's has since been cut off, but the roof is a permanent attachment and holds on when being hauled at 85mph on my truck, and is pretty much indestructible in the woods.
