97 Club Car new controller
I have a 96 Club Car and have installed an FX302 controller. There is no tow/run switch or second solenoid installed. The diagram that mostly fits is here http://www.fsip.biz/Documents/FX302_R2.pdf
The issue I have is that the solenoid is not clicking to allow movement. According to their troubleshooting and the results I am getting on the cart, pin 11 (blu/wht) should be battery voltage with the key on. To my knowledge that would mean the solenoid would need a ground on the blue wire in order to energize. I am getting battery voltage on that solenoid post, which in the diagram is connected with pin 2 (orange/wht) at the controller, which is what their troubleshooting says is the proper reading. Something seems wrong here...what am I missing? |

Re: 97 Club Car new controller
Try jumping the two large posts on the solenoid with a screwdriver. Make sure the rear of the cart is on jack stands first
