JohnnieB....The studs on the 98 are the same....Like all others that I have seen...controller has a 4 pin connector

The 2000 has different size studs....my mistake describing them..two studs are taller and two are shorter....but same size...the two shorter studs go from the motor to two plug in on the controller...this controller also has a 10 pin connector...and also a 4 pin connector that is jumped back to the same plug....

I was trying to save a lady in the campground some money but I am thinking that if this swap was even possible that its not gonna be worth all the trouble...Would you agree..

plus I have another post on CC side reference to my precedent not taking a charge.....jump over there and help please sir

Sounds like the 1998 is a series cart, so the motors are not swappable.

Also looks like you got the CC battery charging problem fixed.
