I'm putting together a shopping list

I'm looking for a good rear view mirror. looking at the side mount utv mirror and the 4 or 5 panel mirror

back in the day the 4-5 panel vibrated do they still vibrate ?

what would you recommend for a good mirror ??

I install the 5 panel's all day long. They "vibrate" some because they mount on the roof supports which are bolted into the frame which has a meager suspension. Mounting side view mirrors on the same roof support will give the same results. Over time, what I've seen is that the side mounted ones get knock off more frequently...(not suggesting that you would do that, just an obervation )

I mount a bunch of radio boxes on the roof and they get shaken to he11 and back for the same reason.

I bought a rear view mirror (car style) from a junkyard for $10, a kit to mount it (Just a tube of special glue-I had to make a boss out of some scrap aluminum) for $2, and glued it to my windshield.

It has OnStar buttons on the mirror. Gets a laugh from people who notice it...

I have started using the round convex mirrors with a T nut through the windshield frame on the RXV and just a lock nut on the txt. Big enough to see but don't block my forward view.
