To test the S1 and S2 cables swap them and see if the problem follows one of the cables or remains the same.

When swapping the S1 and S2 cable forward is good and reverse shudders.
Pack Voltage 52.7V
B- to M- 52.6V
Main solenoid test good
Rev Contactor:
Reverse side,S1 49.1V on power side/49.9V on motor side when pedal is pushed
Forward side,S2 49.0V on power side/ .002V on motor side
I replaced the S2 cable with no change
When going in forward there is a HUGE Amp draw from the motor

Need four voltage measurements:
1. S1 to S2 in with F/R switch in F and pedal on floor.
2. S1 to S2 in with F/R switch in R and pedal on floor.
3. A1 to A2 in with F/R switch in F and pedal on floor.
4. A1 to A2 in with F/R switch in F and pedal on floor.

Voltages in 1 & 2 ought to be same except for polarity.
Voltages in 3 & 4 ought to be same value and same polarity.

Need four voltage measurements:
1. S1 to S2 in with F/R switch in F and pedal on floor.-.083V
2. S1 to S2 in with F/R switch in R and pedal on floor.- .933V
3. A1 to A2 in with F/R switch in F and pedal on floor.- .033V
4. A1 to A2 in with F/R switch in F and pedal on floor.- .000V

Voltages in 1 & 2 ought to be same except for polarity.
Voltages in 3 & 4 ought to be same value and same polarity.

I made a typo, the F/R switch in test-4 ought to have been in R.

I'm not sure how some of those voltages can exist. In a nutshell, full battery pack voltage at the time the voltage is measured should be divided between S1 to S2 and A1 to A2. In other words, if the pack voltage is 50V and the controller is WOT, then if 30V is dropped across the armature windings, 20V should be dropped across the stator windings.

Where exactly are connecting each of the test leads? I need voltage measurements between the studs on the motor, or between the other ends of the cables attached to those studs. Black test lead on A2, red test lead on A1.

The data log label reverse isn't in reverse and the keyswitch isn't on and the throttle was never pressed and shows all zeroes. However, battery voltage is only 0.2V max and it ought to read about 49V before solenoid clicks.

I have to change the file extension from .txt to .csv to load data into my spreadsheet to analyze, so the may have been some data corruption. Please leave the data files in the .csv format and zip the files to post them. You can attach a .zip file to a BGW post.

OK Will retest tonight.
Tell me where you want the leads?
S1 to S2 in F
S1 to S2 in R
A1 to A2 in F
A1 to A2 in R

Will from Alltrax also wants me to run another file and check some settings before I run it. Thanks

Start the data log with Key OFF and pedal up. Also get at least a few seconds of 100% throttle.
