Default Trojan Batteries Won't Hold Charge

2013 precident. Batteries are 4 yrs old. Bought this cart used about 4 mos ago. Up until it started getting cold snaps it was doing fine. After full charge it was reading 51.2 volts before. Now after a few cool snaps it will read 50.1 volts. Can't use it much before it gets down to 48.?. Left charger on for 2 full days and read 50.1. With no use for 2 days not plugged in it reads 49.3 volts. Water has been kept up too. Time for new batteries? Might consider lithium too.

Likely poor maintenance or poor charging habits by the previous owner.
What charger do you have?
Are there any accessories hooked up to the pack like lights, radio, etc?

Sounds like bad batteries. Four years is about all they last anyway.

It won't be much difference with Lithium batteries. When it gets into the 40 and 50's they also get very sluggish. If you can hold off until spring time everything might be OK.
