1998 Ezgo brakes
I have a 1998 EZGO and the brake pedal does not spring back after pressing the brakes. I have to manually pull it back. The brakes are a little soft but still work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: 1998 Ezgo brakes
look under your cart at the pedal, make sure the spring is still intact. I have seen a few assy break due to being impacted.

Thanks for the reply. It is still there. It appears the linkage is a little loose but is tightened up as much a possible.

Re: 1998 Ezgo brakes
sounds like your cables are sticking, disconnect and see if you can move it back & forth inside the housing easily, if not you may be able to soak them in cleaning solvent to free up or get new ones. kirk

Re: 1998 Ezgo brakes
Thanks for the help. I lubricated the cables and the pedal shaft and after working them for a while they loosened up. Thanks.
