Default 93 Marathon - Vegas Carts kit

Since Vegas carts is offering the 625cc kit for the Marathon again I'm thinking it's the time is right to change out the old Robins
Any suggestions or opinions?
I'm hoping it's a hand tool type install as I don't have access to a shop anymore.

If it’s similar or the same as a TXT install I just used basic tools and my makita. Start to finish took me about 3 hours

With the failure rate of the connecting rods on the 625 I would not do it unless I swapped to the Vegascarts billet rod. I realize that is some wrench work BUT the 625's record speaks for itself. Also Red Beard figured out the way to add more RPM safety to the valve train was to add the inner springs from the double spring set for the 390-460 cc clones. These changes would make the engine a lot more bullet proof.

Most engines are good and will last with good regular maintenance and a light right foot. The 625 is no different. I say go for it. If you want you can build it up a little better. But if you run it like a golf cart it should work nicely. If you drive it like NASCAR then all bets are off. I've heard those engines make big torque, should be fun, just don't over rev it.
