1990 marathon won't run with new batteries
A buddy put new batteries in, and the darn thing won't run. Switched back to old batteries, and still won't run! What could possibly have been fried during this process? Tried a solenoid off a known good cart, and that didn't fix. Also, voltage across solenoid drops down to about 16v when pedal is pressed.

Re: 1990 marathon won't run with new batteries
Wished I could help. I hope your situation isn't like how mine went. Cart was running when batteries died. Sat in my shop for a year. Decided to get it running so bought all new batteries and replaced all cables at the pack. Long story short, after a new controller, rebuilt motor and and new ITS she's running. As for your problem they'll ask you to do some diagnostics on the wiring system to narrow down where the problem will be. Good luck!
