Re: 89 club car DS gas
Yeah that's what's called a Z-lift. They're legit. That's a commonly sold type of lift. It's cheap because you don't have to replace the stock front suspension, but a lot of cart owners shudder at the thought of cutting the frame.

Re: 89 club car DS gas
I haven't heard yet of any other successful options other than stock for these older carts. Are you just trying to quiet it down? Or make it louder?

Re: 89 club car DS gas
no just would like to move it up or something so it doesn't look so bad or even look for a smaller muffler

Re: 89 club car DS gas
There isn't anything out there that I know of. Been wanting to raise my muffler up for awhile but I keep not ever getting around to it. Was planning to cut the pipe and rework/replace/reroute it so that the muffler can be raised. Hate the way it looks. Doesn't affect my driving at all though.

Re: 89 club car DS gas
well fixed a lot of little things that were wrong with the cart put some nice wheels and tires on it ,redid the seat covers, put a roof on it and a stainless steel steering column and a carbon fiber steering wheel looks much better
