Default tuning spring and key ignition

well i bought the tuning spring and adapter for my 93 marathon, the instructions say the accelerator is underneath the rubber mat at your feet. well mine isnt it is under the seet approx 6 inches below the key. my question is has anyone used one of these? also the set up isnt what the directions are and can someone explain on how to set the cart on key idle for me ? one more question. i also bought a approx 1" shorter belt i thought until i got the old belt off and it is smaller than the new one. the old belt says 1339 and thats all, can someone tell me what belt i need or what the 1339 means. the cart is a 93 marathon i believe, possible a medalist and it has a robin 295 cc motor in it.
thanks for any help that yall can provide.

For the belt, your marathon cart should have the shortest one ezgo uses, people have used the shorter yamaha belts on those. maybe that's what the old belt is. see the shorter belt thread in the tech section.
Not sure what the adapter kit thing is your talking about, where did you get it from? won't they help?
If you want it to run off the switch you just need to run a wire from the key switch to the solenoid or you can jump the pedal activated micro switch so it's always on.

Thanks ruredy . I'm confused about the belt situation. I bought the yamaha belt and come to find out it's actually longer than the one on there. The yamaha belt is "39" I guess my motor has been modified or something. Ok thanks or the info one the ignition I think I'm just gonna jump the wire across
