1996 TXT Won't Run

Good evening all!

I am new to owning my 1996 TXT, so I could use a lot of help. We have owned the cart for 3 months and have had no issues until just the other day. The cart had been charged overnight and backed out of the stall and to the car just fine. The cart set idle for about 5 minutes while loading the bags etc. When we tried to go, it clicked a few times and did not move.

After moving the handle to reverse and forward a few times it took off to the first tee block and had no issues until we reached the green on 2. It now would not move at all. We heard a click or two while trying to start it but has not clicked since. A few days have gone by and nothing. The cart was returned to the stall and placed back on the charge where it needed only a small charge to be back to fully charged.

Still no clicking or movement. I do not have a volt reader but the batteries are in their 3rd summer of use. Any help would be appreciated!

Try checking the micro switches on the fwd/rev, and also try cleaning contacts on the fwd/rev.

Do you hear a reverse buzzer? If not, check the reed switch.
