Default High rpm before cart moves

I have to get high rpm before the cart will move. New belts and new tune up kit plugs air filter
Compression 120 and 119 valves are at .004 cold.

Hi. Does it seem to lunge when it does take off? Mine does this a little and it's because my torque converter sort of "hangs" for lack of a better word before it starts pinching in on the belt. For some reason (it's probably worn out) mine won't start engaging until it spins up to a higher revolution. Just thinking this may be your problem too??? Maybe if you try driving it with the seat off and watching the torque converter you will be able to tell. Just a thought.

Now in my opinion it shouldn't have that little "jerky" part. It should move smoothly into the belt whereas it looks like it's almost catching if that makes any sense to you. Mine does that too when its first spinning up but yours looks like it's doing it in a couple spots.

I hope someone else chimes in on this too but I'm guessing it's the drive clutch. The only reason I haven't replaced mine is they're rather pricy.

My 2004 did the same thing. A new clutch fixed it.

I would pull the belt off and see if the drive clutch slides smoothly on the shaft.. May have a spot that is sticking..
