1988 EZ GO Driven Clutch
Question:
Could someone explain to me or tell me where to go to get information on how to disassemble my driven clutch (Comet) on my 1988 EZ Go Cart? It is a 2 stroke. I need to replace the bushing. I have removed the set screw and put a three jaw puller on it and with plenty of force..nothing moves (even hit the puller hard with a hammer). What gives? Thank you for the help. Dave |

Re: 1988 EZ GO Driven Clutch
I am not sure on your driven clutch but on mine there was a snap ring. Once removed the instructions state that it should slide off but mine was rusted and it took 2 days of soaking and a quick blow with a small sledge hammer and then I was able to slide it off.
My cart is a 95 workhorse and I used the info on ruredy's post http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/ezgo-...iagram-id.html It may be completely different for a 2 stroke but I hope this helps. |
