i made up some more wires or the cart last night and the one pin on the motor just twisted??? could this be my problem? is my motor any good?

I have a 05 PDS the way i found my bad battery was put volt meter on each battery an held brake an push thottle pedal. I used a digital meter
and one of my batteries went to neg. numbers.put new battery in an everything is fine.

Never good. Lesson learned right? "Always back up the jam nut on motor connections when r/r cables."

Does the cart still run?

Just became an expensive lesson. I'd suggest you take the motor to your local electric motor shop for repairs.

took the motor to the local repair shop. they old that the brushes, bearings were shot and there is 3 bars lifted off the armature!! they told me the best thing is to get a rebuild motor 450$ plus sipping! know i would like to know if i should just get a rebuild or get a more powerful motor?? i do have a 6" lift with 20inch tires on it for now.

i got the motor rebuilt at the local shop. the cart would move but still had vary little power then it just stoped.?? i fould the there was no power coming out of the controller. i got a 350 amp and the cart will pick the front end off the ground. that is after i made traction bars for it. the cart is snapie off the start. thanks for all the help!!
