Default TXT DCS Alltrax 400 xct 48V wont go

Several years ago I did a 36v to 48v conversion and upgraded with a ScottyB Alltrax 400 xct.

The cart is a Sepex DCS.
Voltage is 49.1 volts
At power on, the green light blinks 4 times for ITS inductive EZGo then solid green.

When you mash the pedal, the light blinks continously red. If you jack the rear wheels up, it blinks red while the wheels turn slow and then wheels come up to speed and the green light comes on.

Without being jacked up, it tries to move but nothing in forward in reverse.

It first started like a gas engines skips, like a bad connection. I changed the throttle sensor but it did not help. I also bypassed the molex connector. It kept getting worse until it now wont move unless rear jacked up.

At pins 1 and 2 of the 10 pin connector, i get 6.8v at no throttle and 3.7v at full throttle.

Any suggestions?

My post count is low, because I have usally been able to find my issue using the search feature. There is a lot of knowledge on this forum. I have searched and searched but can't figure this one out.

Sounds like you need to contact scottieb or Alltrax (Ted at 541-476-3565 Ext.110)

There is nothing about a blinking red only error code that I can find, but I seem to remember it has been mentioned before. Not sure how that was resolved.

ITS voltage is way off. Ought to be 10Vpedal up and 6V down.

What is the voltage between the Pin-1 and Pin-2 with ITS sensor disconnected?

I had looked at the Alltrax error codes, and nothing covers a continous blinking red light.

When jacked up, and the wheels turn it is the same 6.8v no throttle to 3.7v at throttle.

I check the voltage with the ITS sensor disconnected.

I know Scotty checks in here but I can also try calling Ted. I'll try the ITS disconnect voltage first.

Thanks JohnnieB!

So I went back into the throttle box and found the microswitch arm bent, not activating the switch.

Corrected and cart now runs........now we will see if it stays running.

No more blinking red light...........

Did the ITS voltage go to the 10V up 6V down like it should be?

I found the DCS troubleshooting up in the sticky section. I'll try Pin1 voltage and Pin 2 voltage to see what I get.

On Pin 2, I am only getting 7.6v instead of the 14-15v out of the controller.

On Pin 1, I get the .4 to 1.4v range.

Is there a setting in the Alltrax itset that can be changed?

So I disconnected the ITS and got 15.2v at pin 2 so its not the controller.

I changed the ITS and it still readys 7.6v.
