Default G16 performance muffler

Does anyone have a performance muffler on a G16. My muffler housing is rattling and was wondering about replacing mine and getting a performance muffler. Just curious if it made a difference in power

I don’t think JUST doing the muffler alone is a good idea. Extra airflow without supporting fuel will cause a lean burn. He offers a “hot setup” with all the supporting mods that will make a much bigger difference. You’ll have to call Don to discuss performance goals so he can send the right clutching components, but you’ll be glad you did.

Thanks for the input. I pulled the muffler today, the welds on the housing broke causing it to rattle. Gonna tack it and try and burn out the deposits.
