2015 TXT No oil light?
I just purchased this 2015 Ezgo TXT with the 13.5 Kaw. I see that it does not have the oil light like my S4 express did. Does it just shut the engine down for low oil? How does it alert you otherwise? Dash looks stock and not modified.

I've seen one before that had a sending unit and a wire, but no light. Curious. Wasn't wired to anything.

It should have a low oil shut off at the least if it doesnt have a light. Just curious why it doesnt

Oil light is optional but available. Pretty sure that motor just has a pressure switch but no shut off
|

Some of the oil lights were optional but every one of them comes with a marked dipstick

The white wire should go to ground when pressure is low.
Use a light (any 12v light or LED will work) and wire one side to the battery (anode side if using a LED) or the key switch. The white wire will go to the other side (cathode side if using a LED). |
