Loose steering on Western 400
Hi. Picked up a 98 Western 400 last week and I'm attempting to fix some loose steering. I haven't been able to find another steering column/steering gear box like what I have, so I'm hoping you smart people might be able to help me identify this.
Tie rods and everything underneath look great and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the actual steering wheel itself. However, upon taking the steering column off, I discovered a set of gears that look to have a little play in them. It could possibly be the steering assembly as well but it's hard to tell. I have searched and searched but cannot find a steering assembly or steering gear box like mine. Any advise would be great. |
