Default PDS vs TXT

Can someone explain the difference between PDS and TXT. I have a TXT. My understanding is that a PDS is better... is this true? Can I put a speed chip in a TXT?

Thanks

TXT is the model of cart. PDS is the electrical system. Series or PDS? Does your cart have a lever shifter or a rocker switch for forward and reverse?

Guessin' it's a Series. No chip for them. The good thing about series carts is ya can do all kinds of motor/controller mods.
