Ok... i just checked the carts serial tag... Model is TXTE and the Date code is M2304... my understanding is that the last two numbers in the date code are the year. The weird thing is that the serial tag is normaly near the passenger "glove box" but mine is under the flap that lift up under the seat by the motor

OK... after all that, maybe a new post is in order..."Series vs PDS". So back to my original post. I assume PDS is better... speed chip, etc. But are there any benefits of a "Series cart" over the PDS?

Yes, the series has way more after market motor and controller combinations avaiable for it. It is also simpler to upgrade to 48 volt system.
