Clutch question

Hi Tom, here is the reason Im asking this. I have a chance to buy a complete G1 engine supposed to be in good shape. Here is the answer this guy gave me when I asked him something.

Hi I have the clutches the primary is off a G 16 and isnt in the greatest shape but the secondary is great. The reason I used the g16 clutch was the automatic oiler. I hate them cant trust them. I will take 125 for the cart with the clutches onlything missing is the motor and front arms. starter still there exaust, rear end also. front body is bad and rear has some cracks.

So what do you think Tom do you think he is lying to me with the above statement, he also said if I buy the motor I can have the rest for 125.
