Default Rough Ride

I bought my wife a new 2012 Drive for her to ride around our farm. The ride is incredibly rough. We had a G1 for 15 years prior and it was a great machine. We are VERY disappointed in this maching for a few different reasons. The rough ride makes it miserable to drive. Does anyone have any suggestions? The dealer is of no help at all. Thanks

does the cart have aftermarket rims/tires on it or are they standard cart tires/wheels? I have experienced this with a few of my customers...actually some to the point of trading their cars in completely.

I would think the G1 and G2/9 "The Drive" rides were simular. Now G8/G14/G16/G22's had the softest ride ever in a golf car, some think they were to soft

Out of curiosity why would you think a G1 which is a first year Yamaha and a 2012 "The Drive" would drive similar small block?

G1's/G2/G9's all had very stiff coil over shocks and 2 bushing mounted swing arm connections to the main frame. G8 thru G22 had basicly a 3 link mount and a rear link bar. Softer spring rates and the panhard bar made for a better ride. "The Drive" just has "stiffer" coil over shocks in "my" opinion. You think "The Drive" has a better ride then a G16/19/22?

Def not that's why I was curious on your opinion, as a Yamaha Dealer I like to hear feedback from people such as yourself and hand those ideas to my suppliers for a better product...this is not the first complaint I have heard on the suspension on "The Drive" so I will pass on the word as the big-wigs would expect me to.
