new pipe

Had the e-z-go out this weekend for the first time this year since adding the rcc pipe. IT RUNS GREAT. Last year I could not climb a couple of the steep sand hills and now I just chug right up. I am using the 28 degree clutch, trailblazer belt(shorter),uni filter no box and the rcc pipe. The next thing is the cam. The sand on the flats still robs allot of power but it can run at cruising speeds. Has anyone tried BU's power spring on the 28 degree clutch?? Just curious since i have one I have not installed.

Bought it $155.00 new. I was going to put the spring in the stock clutch when i got it but took it apart and the cam was F'd and i did not know i could just buy it and new buttons.

In that case the spring will make no difference. Yes you can buy the cam and buttons, and make a 28deg out of the other for around $40
E-Z-GO part #'s:
1 - 72329-G01 Cam
3 - 72324-G01 Button

use 120 degrees of preload, and the middle spring setting.

so the 28 degree has a stiffer spring also?

I believe it does, but would have to go back through part number to be 100% sure. The 28deg clutch is the heavy duty clutch use on the ST, it doesn't get better than that for a driven clutch on a ezgo. I listed the part numbers for the cam and buttons above, you have to pre-load the spring when putting it back together.

other than i'm not sure what your talking about, no. Ask ezgomike about the clutches and the other stuff, he knows everything about ezgo's

what it does is make it key start and idle rather than pedal, it contains a softer drive spring? to help with the idle but still have more instant power for like on hills.

Is this new? Who sells it? I wanted to do this with my old workhorse but there wasn't a way to do it back then.
